What is the important difference concerns whether or not the poets sought to simply present a natural scene or to meditate on their lives and societies in and through nature. Li Po, for example, often uses his engagement with nature to reflect on humanity. For this response, analyze Li Po, Wei Wang or Du Fus engagement with nature in at least two poems. Be sure to analyze if and how the poet uses nature to reflect on himself and his society. Write at least 300 words and provide at least two rich direct quotations that you analyze.
