Justice Studies Careers Part One:

In the first part of this project students will:

Review the curriculum of the Justice Studies major and become familiar with the categories of Police & Law Enforcement, Crime & Criminology, Law & Legal Process, and Terrorism & Homeland Security (all aspects within the field of our Justice Studies programs).
Identify three distinct professions from three of these four categories (each profession must be from a different category).
Conduct research for each of the three selected professions and compose a 1-2 page synopsis on each (3-6 total pages).
Profession summary for each career must include, but is not limited to:

Name and description of the profession, including the JUS-category.
Name(s) and types of organizations which employ this position (Federal, State, Local, Private, Non-Profit, etc.).
Brief summary of the duties required of the position.
Hiring qualifications, sample salary range, and any other pertinent information about the career.
A one paragraph conclusion stating whether you would like to work in this position, including a rationale (why or why not).
The first part of this project will be submitted as one paper. Separate each profession with a hard break.
