Create a Full Lesson Plan In this chapter, you read about the concepts of meaningful input, explicit instruction, controlled exercises, and communicative output. To put these concepts into practice, select one of the following options and create a communicative grammar lesson for adults that follows the PPP lesson format. You can refer to ITAs Grammar Module or other sources to help you understand your chosen grammar point. Plans that do not use one of these grammar points will not be accepted. Option #1: Present Simple (beginning level) Teach how the present simple can be used to describe habitual actions in ones life (e.g. I take the bus to school every day.) You can assume that students have already been introduced to some basic verbs and nouns to describe common daily routines. Option #2: Past Continuous (intermediate level) Teach how an ongoing action in the past continuous can be interrupted by an action in the past simple (e.g. I was watching the news when my phone rang.).
