The Observation Site Essay will be a summary of your individual experience practicing observation methods and planning a strategy to address consumer health and consumer health technology needs. Before you begin consider a location (home, work or other) where you may observe an individual or individuals use of technology devices (laptops, tablets, mobile and wearables). In the assignment you will not use individual names, but rather refer to them as individual #1, individual #2 etc. Required Observational Study Assignment Format: o Background/Introduction – Background and introduction to the observed environment using o Observation Summary – Responses to the assignment questions using section headers and supportive references. o Conclusion – Concluding discussion and comments using references as needed. Each write-up should be no more than 1000 words (+/- 50 words). The questions below will be the "Observation Summary" section of the write-up.
